Newschannel 5 interviewed me this week about Cleveland Connection.

Watch the video.

Since taking over the public affairs show in January, I've been working hard to freshen it up. My philosophy is, just because it's a Sunday morning public affairs broadcast, that doesn't mean it has to be stale and boring.

Cleveland Connection should be a celebration of all the great work, great people, and great events that are making Cleveland a better place.

The focus is on issues including the local economy, education, urban revitalization, Veterans, diversity and child welfare. And our great city is taking those issues head on.

Cleveland Connection is a way of shouting to the world, "Look what we're doing in Cleveland to make the world a better place." Whether through charity, ingenuity, the arts, or music. I want people to know "Cleveland Rocks!"
