Gosh, I love to tell a good story.
Been working at it for 30+ years now.
During that time I've worked with some of the best in the broadcasting biz.
And some of the worst. Ew.
Learned from them what to do, and what not to do.
My favorite mentors had a zeal for life. And a voracious need to keep learning.
Me too.
That's why I applied to Yale University's storyteller program "Thread at Yale."
And holy mackerel, they accepted me.
So, it's off to New Haven, Connecticut, to learn from some of the best storytellers in the world.
Mentors include storytellers for the New York Times,The Moth, Rolling Stone, NPR, Yale, Snap Judgement, Story Corp, and several Pulitzer Prize winners.
Terrified about this next experience, but even more excited.
Wish me luck!
